Development - residential and commercial
The development committee works to represent the neighborhood’s interests on residential and
commercial developments coming into the W. Broadway area. Committee members work
closely with developers, city officials and the BPDA to make certain new developments bring
positive impact to our neighborhood.
Examples of recent developments, both residential and commercial:
The conversion of the gas station at “A” and W. Broadway into condos
The construction of condos at 14 W. Broadway
The construction of the Cambria Hotel at 6 W. Broadway
The construction of the Ink Park under the I93 overpass.
FUNDRAISING
Committee members are responsible for putting together plans for raising funds needed to
operate our programs and business throughout the year.
EVENTS
The Events Committee plans and executes special events designed to help neighbors get to know
each other. Examples of their work are: Friday Night Story Hour, Holiday Sing-Along and Potluck and Lobby Pop Ups.
